Paradise Park a garden dedicated to saving Parrots
It is worth visiting Paradise Park just to see our thoughtfully developed Victorian walled gardens with sub-tropical plants, gazebos and a procession of rose and clematis arches. Unusual passion flowers and exotic butterflies can be seen in the Tropical House. Giant rhubarb, tree ferns and bamboo feature in 'Parrot Jungle'.
Paradise Park is home to the "World Parrot Trust". Our work for conservation has won much recognition including first prize in BBC Widlife Magazine's 'Zoo Conservation Awards for Excellence'.
